Casting call: actresses (with ukrainian background)
For a short film, we are looking for an actress for the main role and two charismatic actresses for important supporting roles with a Ukrainian background.
No-Budget project
Genre: mystical drama, arthouse
Shooting location: Berlin
Period: the first half of September
Logline: The main character, a young Ukrainian woman, is temporarily in Europe as a refugee from the war and is waiting for the planned wedding, but an accident leads her on a completely unexpected path
The main character: a young Ukrainian girl (looks 18-25, fragile), pleasant, calm, cheerful and in love, misses her fiancé, who is not with her now, and is full of thoughts about the future wedding.
Important female supporting roles: two friends of the main character, charismatic, talkative, active, optimistic. Age: 20-30 years.
Professional experience is not necessary, but dramatic skills are required
Language: Ukrainian (surzhyk is also possible)
Shooting days: 1 partial day for a scene with all actresses, 2-3 partial days for scenes with the main heroine
Rehearsal for filming
This is a non-commercial low-budget but original arthouse project aimed at participation in film festivals, which is created with our own resources, so unfortunately we cannot offer payment. We guarantee original, delicious Ukrainian catering.
