Roman Pfeiffer

I am a producer and directer with an extensive business background. In 1,5 years I directed 7 short films and co-produced 2 feature films. After 12 years working in a variety of start-ups I gained brought and in-depth business knowledge, holding roles such as VP or COO. Having always led teams (up to 200 people) throughout my career provides me with sound experience of managing diverse teams. When entering the film industry in 2023 I was able to apply my business experience very well into film projects. - Working with a human centric approach, building long term relationships - Introducing smooth working processes in projects with many stakeholders - Solid financial planning Naturally I feel drawn to producing films, using my experience and skills to help someone bringe their dream to live. ------- Besides producing I find my passion in directing films. I have been inspired by surreal and dark themes depicted by directors such as: David Lynch, Giorgos Lanthimos, Janicza Bravo, David Cronenberg, Jim Jarmusch and others. I enjoy the different phases of filmmaking and the way a vision passes through all of them in order to become the film I wanted to make. Especially the fact that these visions cannot be realised on my own but rather together with other people makes the art form of cinema incredibly appealing to me - since I love working with other people. I strongly believe that everyone's contribution to a projects provides tremendous value and is crucial for the final film.
